XPE sheet machine is a very expensive set of machine, normally, XPE mat manufacturers don’t make the sheet by themselves, they buy XPE sheet and the rest of machines to make the mat.
The Xpe laminated embossing machine can not only laminate XPE sheet with PE film, but also can make patterns on it. It uses hot air to melt the surface of the XPE sheet and the color film, and then presses them together by the embossing roller. While pressing, it will form a clear concave-convex texture on the surfce of XPE. It also has the function of bonding two layers of XPE sheet together if you need more thickness. For example, if your XPE sheet is 1cm thick, but you want to produce a 2cm thick xpe baby mat, then you can use this machine to bond two layers together.
After laminating, you have to use the thermoforming machine.The machine is composed of three main parts——-heating part, forming part, cutting part. Put the rolls on the shelf, the chains will take the XPE sheet into the machine. After it is heated, the moulds on the forming part will press together on the sheet to form the folds and different designs on the sheet (such as alphabets, animals, flowers, etc). After that, it will be cut into mats. This kind of mat can be folded so it can save a lot of space to store and it is easy to carry.
If you want to save production cost, you don’t need to buy the thermoforming machine. After the XPE sheet is laminated with PE film, you can cut it into mats directly. After cutting, you have to use a sewing machine to cover the four sides, then the mats are finished. But the mats made in this way can’t be folded.
