The EPE sheet extruder is the main machine for producing EPE baby mats. It melts the LDPE raw material in the screw by high temperature, then it mix it with talcum, GMS and butane and extrude it from the mould to make the EPE sheets. The principle of EPE foaming is the instant foaming of butane from liquid to gas. Extrusion laminating machine can extrude a layer of PE film which can stick EPE sheet with colorful PE film together while it is hot. Meanwhile, it can emboss designs on the roller onto the mat surface.
As such mats have many thicknesses, the extruder can’t extride all of them. So you need a bonding machine to make different thicknesses. Normally, manufacturers uses extruders to make 3mm, or 5mm thickness. After lamination colorful film on one side of the EPE sheet, they can bond two rolls of sheets together to make more thickness. For example, if they want to make 10mm mats, then they bond two rolls of 5mm-thick EPE sheets together.
EPE cutting machine is used to cut laminated sheets to the size of the mats.
Sewing machine is to cover the four sides of the mats so that it will not separate.
When you started the extruder, there will be some wasted material at the beginning. And after cutting sheets, there is also a lot of waste. EPE recycling machine is to recycle this waste and cut them into granules so that it can be re-used again.
