EPE has a non-crosslinked closed-cell structure, also known as polyethylene foam cotton, which is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging material. It is composed of countless independent air bubbles which is expanded from LDPE (low-density polyethylene). It overcomes the shortcomings of ordinary styrofoam that are fragile, deformed, and poor in recovery.
