EPE laminating machine
There are two types of EPE laminating machines——single-side laminating machine and double-side laminating machine. Single-side laminating machine can laminate only one side of the product at one time while double-side laminating machine can laminate both sides at one time so it can save the labor cost and increase efficiency.
The principle of the EPE laminating machine:
The roller has heating pipes and conducting oil inside. When there is electricity, the heating pipes will heat the oil so that the roller temperature goes up.
The surface of the roller has teflon so that the plastic film will not be sticked to the roller after heating. The melted pe film or pp film will be sticked to epe sheets after passing the pressing roller so that the lamination is done. The roller surface also has some embossings (3mmx3mm-5mmx5mm) which can make different patterns on the product.
The speed of lamination is determined by the heating temperature. The higher the heating temperature, the faster the lamination speed. On the contrary, the lower the temperature, the slower the speed. The specific temperature depends on the thickness of the film and the material of the film.
The laminating machine is a common machine in the deep processing equipment of epe products. The material after lamination combines the advantages of the tensile strength and toughness of the pe film with the softness and resilience of the epe product, as well as the characteristics of heat preservation and moisture preservation. The finished products can be used as thermal insulation bags, thermal insulation of greenhouses, packaging of various products such as doors, windows and furniture, floor moisture-proof product, etc.
