In terms of fire prevention and ventilation of epe products（polyethylene foam）, we have to do the detailed things as the following:
1. In the process of epe production（polyethylene foam）, if the ventilation of the workshop and warehouse is not good, it is easy to cause the concentration of butane gas to increase. When the concentration of butane gas reaches a certain level, it will be prone to fire when it encounters open flames or static sparks. To reduce the hazards caused by static sparks, turn on the humidifier or ion blower in the warehouse to maintain the humidity in the air.
2. EPE should be stored in a well-ventilated area. EPE products（polyethylene foam） cannot be stored in a sealed compartment or a sealed space. A ventilated packing box should be used to pack the EPE.
3. The factory should strictly require workers to always keep epe products（polyethylene foam） away from flames and sparks. No one is allowed to smoke or use anything with ignition sources in the workshop. Factory personnel are also strictly required not to smoke, and the product label indicates that the product may contain residual combustible foaming agent, and must be kept away from fire, heat sources and sparks, and must be stored in a well-ventilated place.
4. During the delivery process, the driver is required to obey the following regulations: When using the transportation vehicle, open an exhaust outlet of 5-15 square meters for every 1,000 cubic meters of the vehicle. And when the driver chooses a logistics company for delivery, he has to inform the freight company of the relevant safety requirements, including writing the safety statement on the delivery logistics bill.
5. When arriving at the logistic company, before unloading, let air enter the vehicle and circulate for about 10 minutes. The driver must also extinguish all possible ignition sources such as lighters, matches, cigarettes, sparks, etc.
When the weather is dry in winter, it is necessary to prevent static electricity from generating sparks and causing spontaneous combustion. Therefore, it is particularly important to keep the place where EPE products are piled with good ventilation and keep the air moist.
