EPE sheet is an environmentally friendly packaging material. The climbing mat made of EPE sheet has the advantages of non-toxic, odorless, dirt-resistant, waterproof, and good cushioning effect. It is very suitable for babies who cannot walk to play and crawl on it. This is also the origin of the name of “EPE climbing mat”.
This is a question which is not easy to answer. First of all, whether you can make money depends on whether you can sell the product. It depends on the demand for EPE product in South American countries and which industries will use this product.
The production of EPE sheet requires large EPE extruding line, both vertical EPE bonding machine and horizontal bonding machine, EPE cutting machine and EPE recycling machine.
The newly produced EPE sheet can’t be bonded immediately because there is butane gas inside. If you bond them immediately after they are made, then there will be air bubbles on the finished product. So, you have to leave it for about 15 days for the volatilization of the butane gas. (The higher the temperature is, the shorter the volatilization time is, and vice versa). Only after the butane gas has completely volatilized then we can do the bonding work.
EPE has a non-crosslinked closed-cell structure, also known as polyethylene foam cotton, which is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging material. It is composed of countless independent air bubbles which is expanded from LDPE (low-density polyethylene). It overcomes the shortcomings of ordinary styrofoam that are fragile, deformed, and poor in recovery. It has many advantages such as water and moisture resistance, shock resistance, sound insulation, heat preservation, good plasticity, strong toughness, recycling, environmental protection, strong impact resistance, etc. It is an ideal substitute for traditional packaging materials.
1.The raw materials required for the production of EPE foam sheets is LDPE——-high-pressure low-density polyethylene resin (such as: TN26, 2426H, LD100AC, Russia 15803, Iran's TX00, 0190, etc. Generally speaking, as long as it is LDPE material and the melt index is 1.8 ~2.8, then it can be used), monoglycerides, talcum powder, butane gas.
Model 180 EPE foam extrusion line takes an area of 38mx6mx3.5m. It can make 3mm-18mm thick sheets. If you make 2m-wide sheets, you can get 2mm thickness, too. Its output is about 300-500kg/h. (capacity differs according to different sheet width and thickness). Generally speaking, if you make thin and narrow sheets, its output must be lower than if you make thick and wide sheets.
Degreasing EPE sheet is also called wax-free EPE sheet or oil-free EPE sheet. The way of making such sheet is different from that of making normal EPE sheet. During the process of making degreasing EPE sheet, no GMS (monoglyceride) is added.
