The performance of EPE cushioning material has three aspects which are as the following: 

There are two kinds of play mats in the market now: One is EPE mat, the other is XPE mat. If you want to make foldable mats, you had better use XPE  as material. For EPE mats, they are normally rolled. If you do want to make EPE foldable mats, it is okay, but the quality is not as good as XPE mats——the embossing on the mat surface is not so good and the folded part is not so good as XPE mat, either. 

XPE floating blanket is also known as “floating pad” or “floating bed”. It is an xpe board used for floating in swimming pools or lakes and rivers. Most of them are made of XPE sheets with a thickness of 3cm or 4cm. Exported XPE floating blankets have stricter requirements on toughness and tension. In this case, many customers usually add a nylon mesh in the middle of the XPE sheet to increase its tension.

Crawling mats originated in Japan and South Korea. Crawling mats can be used for infants and young children to crawl and exercise on it, because EPE and XPE foam have advantages of good resilience, waterproof and dirt resistance, ith as no odor, and EPE and XPE are both environmentally friendly materials. Therefore, it is well sold in the market. The folding crawling mat is easy to carry, it can fold much smaller and save a lot of storage space. It is widely used at home and for picnic etc. These years, they are sold well both in China and abroad.
